Temple's Preseason All-MAC Tackling Machine (2009)
In the 2009 season, Temple Owls senior LB Alex Joseph dominated with 87 tackles (2nd on team), 46 solo stops, 3.5 sacks, 4 PBUs, and a forced fumble over 10 starts, earning Phil Steele Preseason All-MAC honors as a tough, 6-2/235 lb. Connecticut native with proven intensity against Navy (13 tackles). His two-year starting grit and physicality make him a reliable, high-motor defender ideal for teams needing blue-collar linebackers who excel in run support and pursuit.
