efficient, experienced Mississippi State backup with proven touch
Chance Lovertich brings a polished, efficient passing profile to Mississippi State, with a résumé that includes leading the NJCAA in passing efficiency and setting MGCCC marks for completion rate and touchdown passes in a game in his freshman season[6]. In his Mississippi State action, he has shown he can manage a game and deliver occasional explosive plays, but he has also faced stiff competition for the QB job and has not separated as the clear starter[1][5]. He looks like a fit for a team that values poise, accuracy, and depth rather than high-volume quarterbacking[6][7].
