In-state speedster with upside, but still searching for a true breakout
KJ Bratton is a Roanoke, Virginia native who came to Virginia as a preferred walk-on and was listed as a 5-foot-8, 174-180-pound junior wide receiver; reports also note injuries limited his chance to see game action in Charlottesville before he later entered the transfer portal and moved to Roanoke College. His appeal is the in-state pedigree, versatility, and proven high-school production — he was a two-time all-state selection who piled up 1,716 total yards and 21 touchdowns — but there is no meaningful college stat line yet, so he’s more of a developmental upside play than a plug-and-play difference-maker.
