Chase Ingram is UAB’s sturdy innings-eater with real strikeout bite
In the 2025 season, the 6-foot-4, 235-pound senior right-hander logged 57.0 innings with 41 strikeouts and even spun a complete game at Middle Tennessee, showing the kind of durability and poise coaches love[1][12]. He’s more than a box-score arm: UAB tagged him for the program’s 15,000th strikeout, and reports repeatedly show him handling quality outings against good competition, which hints at a competitive, reliable starter profile[1][3][4]. If you need a physical RHP who can take the ball, miss bats, and keep the staff on schedule, Ingram is a pretty clean fit[1][3].
