Former 4-Star WR with NFL-Caliber Versatility and Big-Play Pedigree
Thorpe was a highly regarded **4-star** receiver and a dynamic transfer to Virginia, bringing a proven playmaking profile and the kind of competitive edge coaches covet in a slot or motion-heavy role.[3][5] His value is less about raw stat accumulation and more about separation ability, experience, and adaptability—traits that made him a notable addition for Virginia’s offense during his 2015 season, when he appeared in 10 of 12 games with five starts.[5] If you want a receiver who can add intelligence, versatility, and flashes of explosiveness, he is the type of fit that can lift a room beyond the box score.[2][5]
