Drexel’s rebounding wrecking ball with all-CAA polish
In the 2021-22 season, James Butler was the kind of forward every coach loves: a 6-8, 235-pound rebound hunter who finished his Drexel career with 1,227 points and 1,013 rebounds in 110 games, ranking among the program’s all-time rebound leaders and shooting 55.8% from the field. His calling card was toughness on the glass, efficient scoring around the rim, and steady two-way production; he also earned Third Team All-CAA honors twice and helped Drexel win the 2021 CAA title and reach the NCAA Tournament. If your team needs a physical, high-motor frontcourt anchor, he fits the bill.
