Jennings adds depth and timely pop behind the plate for Rider
Dillon Jennings is carving out a useful role for the 2026 Rider Broncs as a catcher who can help lengthen the lineup and give the staff a steady, right-handed option behind the plate. In the 2026 season, Rider’s stats show Jennings hitting .227 with a .638 OPS across limited action, and he delivered a key double in the Broncs’ senior-day win, a nice little reminder that he can contribute in pressure spots[1][5]. He also arrives with a catcher’s profile that suggests usable arm strength and receiving skills from his recruiting background, making him a pragmatic depth add with upside[7].
