Yale catcher Natalie Dominguez brings leadership, consistency, and high-IQ defense
Dominguez enters Yale as a catcher with a strong high-school résumé, having earned North Carolina Southwestern 4A All-Conference honors in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and Yale describes her as a motivated, dynamic addition to the program. Her biggest differentiators are leadership, coachability, and a reputation for keeping teammates energized—traits that often matter as much as raw numbers at catcher. She did not see game action in 2025 at Yale, so her value right now is projection, makeup, and defensive upside rather than current college stats.
