Pitt’s Eric Williams is a redshirt sophomore linebacker with classic downhill size
Eric Williams is listed on Pitt’s 2026 roster as a 6-foot-3 redshirt sophomore linebacker, giving the Panthers a big, physical frame in the middle of the defense.[1] The challenge: there isn’t enough reliable current game-production data surfaced here to accurately label his 2026 impact, but his profile suggests a fit for a defense that values length, toughness, and straight-line power over flash. If he’s healthy and earning snaps, he’s the kind of linebacker who can win with size, leverage, and effort more than headlines.
