6'7 Charlotte RHP Hunter Sloop brings big-frame upside and timely strike-throwing
In the 2026 season, Hunter Sloop is a 6'7", 235-pound right-hander for Charlotte with legit pro-style size and a swingman profile that already translated to a win against Gardner-Webb, where he worked 2.0 innings with 2 strikeouts and 0 walks. He also posted a 0.1-inning outing in Charlotte’s 2026 overall stats, so the sample is still small, but the appeal is obvious: big body, arm-side presence, and enough pitchability to get outs in leverage. If you want ceiling and room to develop, he’s interesting; if you need a polished, proven volume arm, he’s still a wait-and-see.
