Meredith Mayes is the Wildcats’ high-efficiency paint bully with All-WAC upside
In the 2025-26 season, Meredith Mayes has been one of Abilene Christian’s most reliable interior weapons, pairing elite finishing touch with rebounding pressure and defensive activity; she was ranked second nationally in field-goal percentage (.682), while also averaging 15.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game, plus a WAC-best 3.3 offensive boards per game. She earned midseason Becky Hammon watch-list recognition and is a good fit for teams needing a tough, low-mistake center who can score efficiently, create second chances, and bring some sneaky havoc on defense.
