Mike Leazer brings senior-season experience, size, and efficiency to Evansville’s guard rotation
Leazer is a 6-3 guard whose profile is built more on reliability than flash: at Carthage in 2015-16, he played in 23 of 25 games, made eight starts, shot .815 from the free-throw line, and averaged 4.8 points in 16.8 minutes, while also earning academic all-conference recognition[2]. Earlier at Evansville, he showed a willingness to compete in limited minutes, contributing rebounds, a steal, and an assist in spot duty[1]. He looks like a fit for a team needing a disciplined, high-IQ backcourt player who can handle role-player minutes and bring a mature, team-first approach[1][2].
