Rocco Rubino brings veteran guard value with scoring touch and floor leadership
Rocco Rubino’s most visible strengths are his perimeter scoring and guard play: at St. Francis Brooklyn he posted 3.1 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 0.5 assists per game with a 37.3% field-goal mark, while earlier at Hunter College he was a high-usage creator who led the team in points (502) and scoring average (18.6) in the 2009-10 season. The clearest differentiator is experience—he’s a 6'2" guard with a track record of handling lead-guard duties and providing shot-making, which makes him a fit for teams needing an older, steady backcourt option rather than a raw developmental project.
