NCCU’s veteran linebacker with a proven tackle-hunting nose
Brandon Outlaw is a seasoned North Carolina Central linebacker whose calling card is production and leadership: in the 2011 season, he was credited with 19 total tackles in 10 games, and NCCU noted he was closing in on 100 tackles in a season while also delivering big plays like a forced fumble and a sack[1][2]. He’s the kind of defender coaches like because he plays with focus, intensity, and a captain’s edge, making him a fit if you want a dependable tone-setter rather than just a highlight reel[2][3].
