VMI safety DeAngello Plather is a name to watch for range and physicality
DeAngello Plather profiles as a useful VMI defensive back because safeties who can support the run, cover ground quickly, and play with reliable toughness are hard to find; however, the publicly available results here do not include enough recent player-specific game stats or scouting notes to verify his current production, rankings, injury status, or role with confidence. If your staff values a high-effort, versatile back-end defender more than headline numbers, he is the type of player worth a deeper film-and-context look.
