Morgan Goodspeed offers versatile infield depth for Central Connecticut
Morgan Goodspeed has shown utility value for Central Connecticut, with D1Softball listing her 2023 stat line at .000/.400/.000 across 3 games and 5 plate appearances—too small a sample to define her bat, but it does show a patient approach at the plate. Her real appeal is roster flexibility: she’s a right-handed second baseman who can also handle outfield reps, giving a staff lineup and defensive options. The available public profile suggests a developmental piece rather than a marquee stat-sheet star, but that kind of adaptability is exactly what contenders need when injuries and matchups start swirling.
