High-Impact Forward with Elite Intensity for Mississippi Valley State
Leah Perry, a 6-0 Forward from Cairo, GA, stands out for her relentless defensive intensity and high-energy presence rather than just her scoring numbers (1.2 PPG, 1.5 REB in 2023-24). While her field goal percentage (32.4%) reflects a developing shooter, her differentiator is her 'never-sit' personality and ability to disrupt opponents with 0.4 steals and 0.4 blocks per game. She has no significant injury history, consistently playing as a junior with a strong work ethic that makes her a perfect fit for teams needing a gritty, defensive-minded forward who elevates the team's intensity. You should care about Perry because she brings a unique, high-octane defensive spark that statistics alone can't capture, making her an ideal asset for any squad prioritizing toughness and hustle over pure scoring.
