Matthew Campbell gives New Mexico a rangy, disruptive LB presence
Matthew Campbell is a linebacker for the New Mexico Lobos, but current public stat detail is limited in the available sources, so the clean read is more about profile than box-score fireworks[1][5]. He stands out as a defensive piece worth watching because he’s listed on a program roster with an active team profile, suggesting he’s part of the Lobos’ current linebacker mix heading into the 2026 season[1][5]. If you want a fit who brings physicality, defensive intensity, and developmental upside rather than a flashy headline stat line, Campbell is the kind of roster-add that can quietly matter.
