Wofford FB Caleb Lucas: a physical, team-first lead blocker with low-glamour value
Caleb Lucas projects as the kind of fullback coaches trust for dirty-work snaps: physical, assignment-sound, and useful in short-yardage or lead-blocking situations where reliability matters more than splash plays. Publicly available results on his current college production are limited, so his value is best read through role fit—he appears to bring toughness, versatility, and a blue-collar temperament that can stabilize a run game and help set the tone in the locker room. If your team wants a hard-nosed, scheme-friendly FB rather than a stat-sheet star, he fits that mold.
