Melvin Jones brings linebacker-caliber disruption to Presbyterian’s defensive line
Jones stands out as a physical, high-upside defensive line piece whose best trait is obvious: he plays with impact and versatility, traits that helped make him a highly rated recruit with a strong national profile in earlier evaluations. Reliable public information on his current Presbyterian production is limited, so the cleanest read is that he profiles as a fit for teams wanting an active, aggressive front-seven player who can create problems in the backfield rather than just hold ground. If you value motor, toughness, and developmental upside, he’s a worthwhile look.
