Austin Gatewood brings proven LB production and disruptive run support for ETSU
Austin Gatewood profiles as a high-motor linebacker with real college production: at ETSU he started 41 of 45 games and finished his Buccaneer career with 169 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks, showing he can both finish plays and create negative-yardage stops[4]. His background also shows notable athletic tools, including a 5.16 forty, 4.50 shuttle, and 26.3-inch vertical, which helps explain his range and short-area burst[2]. In a lineup, he looks like a reliable, physical fit who adds experience, instincts, and playmaking toughness[3][4].
