Delaware State DL Tyrone Cooper brings size, experience, and front-line potential
Tyrone Cooper is a 6'3", 260-pound defensive lineman for Delaware State who entered the program as a freshman in 2022 and was still listed in the Hornets’ system as part of the program’s recent football record, suggesting a long-term developmental profile rather than a splashy stat-sheet star[1][2]. His appeal is the classic interior-DL blend: NFL-ish frame, blue-collar fit, and value as a gap-absorber who can help stabilize the run game and free up teammates. The lack of public counting stats points to a player whose impact is more about leverage, physicality, and depth than headline numbers[1].
