Veteran Maryland LB Alex Twine brings size, toughness, and steady depth
Alex Twine is a senior linebacker at Maryland in the 2026 season, listed at 6-0, 235 pounds, and his value is all about reliability, physicality, and knowing how to play the position the right way.[2] Early roster/injury notes show him as a trusted veteran piece in the linebacker room, the kind of player who can fill snaps without the drama and add toughness to special-teams and depth roles.[4] He may not scream headline-grabber, but if a team wants a disciplined, hard-tackling, experienced defender with local roots and a no-nonsense edge, Twine fits the bill nicely.[2][15]
