Will Reese is a deep-bench LSU guard with local roots and veteran polish
Will Reese is listed by LSU in the 2025-26 season as a sophomore guard, 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, but the on-court stat line is modest: ESPN lists him at 0.4 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game with 33.3% shooting in a limited role. His differentiator is background and versatility — a Louisiana native, former multi-sport standout, and a player whose path from LSU baseball to basketball signals toughness, competitiveness and team-first flexibility. If a roster needs depth, maturity and a local kid who knows what it means to wear the jersey, Reese is the kind of connector piece coaches love.
