Macy Walters is the Zips’ workhorse arm with real MAC upside
In the 2026 season, Akron right-hander Macy Walters has been a steady rotation anchor and occasional closer, highlighted by a two-hit shutout in March and a save later that month. At 5-foot-6, she wins with toughness, strike-throwing, and durability more than raw overpowering stuff: she logged 135.2 innings in 2026 after throwing 151.0 in 2025 and 125.2 in 2024. Her best fit is a team that values competitive poise, multiple-inning reliability, and a pitcher who can handle big workloads without blinking.
