Xavier Gowins brings an intriguing 6-0, 190-pound DB frame to Bethune-Cookman
Gowins is a Bethune-Cookman defensive back whose listed size and profile suggest a physical, versatile secondary piece rather than a stat-stuffing headline act. The Wildcats’ roster lists him at 6-0, 190 pounds, and ESPN’s 2026 player page shows no game stats recorded yet, so the real appeal is projection: he looks like a developmental defender with the frame to tackle, cover, and hold up against bigger college athletes. If you’re looking for measurable production, it’s not there yet; if you want upside, length, and a potentially reliable fit in a defensive backfield, he’s worth tracking.
