Strike-throwing Southern Miss freshman righty with sneaky poise
Kevin Landry Farr arrived at Southern Miss as a 6-foot-3 right-hander from Northpoint Christian with a reputation for missing bats, and in the 2026 season he logged 9 relief appearances, a 3.68 ERA, 9 strikeouts and just 2 walks in 7 1/3 innings. He debuted by retiring all three Alabama hitters with two punchouts, then repeatedly flashed efficiency in short bursts, which is a nice tell for a low-ego, high-leverage bullpen fit. He looks like a value add for a staff that wants command, calm, and some quiet bite.
