Lafayette’s versatile, high-IQ defensive-back presence
Joe Goodwill is a Lafayette Leopards defensive back whose best-known value comes from versatility, football IQ, and a team-first profile rather than eye-popping box-score noise. Lafayette’s publicly available materials do not show current 2026 stat leaders or a detailed game log for him, so the safest read is that he’s a depth-and-fit piece to evaluate through practice intensity, special-teams value, and coverage consistency. His standout differentiators from the available record are reliability, toughness, and an academic-athletic background that suggests discipline and coachability.
