Big-bodied Purdue tackle with SEC-style size and early-career starting experience
Martesse Patterson’s appeal is simple: he brings rare tackle size at 6-foot-3 and about 340 pounds, and he was trusted to start at left tackle early in his Purdue career before a legal issue interrupted his momentum in 2016[1][2]. He looked like a power-based, physical lineman who could help in short-yardage and pass-protection situations, but there is no current 2026 on-field Purdue production available in the available sources, so his fit is best evaluated as a depth/fit question rather than a stat-sheet one[1][2].
