Jamecca Harrell brought steady frontcourt production for Maryland
In Maryland’s 2001-02 season, Jamecca Harrell was a reliable 6-foot-4 senior forward who averaged 6.4 points and 5.3 rebounds, with efficient scoring around the basket and a strong rebounding base that showed up in key games. She was named to the Cancun Tournament all-tournament team and grabbed 10 rebounds in Maryland’s loss to NC State, signaling a physical, high-motor presence rather than a volume scorer. For a team needing size, toughness, and dependable board work, she profiles as a useful interior fit.
