Alexa Acker gives Colgate a two-way edge in the circle and at the plate
Acker is a dependable, high-usage pitcher for Colgate who has shown she can win with command and resilience, highlighted by a 2026 outing in which she scattered one run on six hits, walked none, and struck out four, plus a 2025 complete-game shutout and a complete-game win with just one unearned run allowed in 2023-24. She also adds real two-way value as a hitter, giving her a lineup fit most staffs don’t get from a pitcher. Her appeal is durability, poise, and versatility rather than overpowering stats, making her a strong fit for teams that value competitive toughness and multi-role utility.
