Jackson State Tigerettes' Towering Center with Untapped Potential
Chinye're Marner, the 6'5" center for the Jackson State Tigerettes, brings elite rim protection and rebounding tenacity to the paint, averaging double-doubles in limited minutes during the 2025-26 season amid a rebuilding program under coach Rose Washington. Her differentiator is raw athleticism and relentless motor—high school standout from Georgia with no major injury history—making her a high-upside fit for mid-major or low-major teams seeking size and intensity. Scouts note her personality shines in leadership; why care? She's a diamond in the rough ready to dominate with proper development.
