Jayson Aycock brings size, local roots, and a classic rim-protector build to UNCW
Aycock is a 6'10" center from Wilmington with the kind of frame that immediately matters for UNCW’s interior depth, and his background as a long-time Seahawks fan adds a built-in buy-in factor. The most reliable public information available here is older roster data, which shows he developed as a walk-on and was recognized for improvement, suggesting a coachable, effort-first profile rather than a stat-stuffing one. If you need a big who can add toughness, practice depth, and a local connection with clear upside as a system fit, he’s worth a look.
