a steady CCSU defensive back with proven ball skills
Chris Linares has long been linked with Central Connecticut State’s secondary, and the available game logs show a DB who contributes in coverage and run support rather than chasing highlight-reel headlines. In the 2011 season, he registered an interception and pass breakup against James Madison, underscoring instincts and competitiveness; his profile suggests a scrappy, reliable defender who can fit a system that values discipline, tackling, and versatility. He looks like the kind of player coaches trust on the back end—more steady operator than viral clip machine.
