EWU’s speed-and-experience back with roots in the Eagles’ program
Reggie Witherspoon is a familiar Eagles name with strong backfield pedigree, having played running back at Eastern Washington and later being recognized around the program’s 2004 team history[4][7]. Publicly available current game-log info for the 2026 season is sparse, so the clearest takeaway is fit and background rather than fresh stat fireworks[1]. He stands out for proven program familiarity, toughness, and the kind of dependable RB profile coaches tend to trust when they want a steady, no-drama contributor. If your team values experience, football IQ, and a player who already understands the Eastern Washington standard, he’s an easy name to like.
