Tennessee State’s clutch shot-maker and veteran backcourt spark
LaDarious Weaver stood out for Tennessee State in the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons as a high-minute guard who could score, defend, and hit big shots, including a game-winner at the buzzer against Tennessee Tech in 2008. In the 2006-07 season, he averaged 13.7 points, 34.4 minutes, 1.2 steals, and hit 93 threes, showing range and volume shooting. He also delivered in pressure moments and handled point-guard duty when needed, which makes him valuable if you want a composed, versatile guard with real late-game bite.
