Eavan Gibbons is Navy’s hard-hitting, high-IQ tone-setter at linebacker
In the most recent Navy materials available, Eavan Gibbons is a senior Striker/Bandit who has been a steady, physical presence for the Midshipmen, with 54 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery, and 2 forced fumbles in his 2022 season. He also earned Second-Team Academic All-American honors and carries an elite academic profile, which hints at a sharp football brain and disciplined preparation. If you want a defender who plays with edge, reliability, and Navy-style toughness, Gibbons checks a lot of boxes—he’s the kind of player who makes a defense feel organized, nasty, and just a little annoying in the best possible way.
