Jon Atkins brings veteran leadership and two-way pedigree to Air Force’s backcourt
Atkins is a seasoned guard for Air Force with a decorated high school résumé — three-time team MVP, first-team all-conference, and a state-record 46-point game — but his current college production has been modest, with ESPN listing 2024-25 averages of 1.2 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 0.4 assists on 30.8% shooting. He looks like a fit if your team values experience, competitiveness, and proven scoring instincts more than pure box-score volume, though the available data suggests he is more of a depth/role guard than an immediate high-usage centerpiece.[3][4]
