Anthony Wales was a proven **workhorse** for WKU, topping 1,000 yards and 9 TDs in a season
Anthony Wales is a high-volume, production-first running back who gave Western Kentucky a dependable ground-game centerpiece, including a 1,091-yard, 9-touchdown season that extended WKU’s streak of 1,000-yard rushers; he also brings proven big-play ability from high school, where he once set a Jefferson County rushing record with 2,994 yards and 37 touchdowns. He is the kind of back you care about if you want toughness, ball security through heavy usage, and a runner who has already shown he can carry an offense in meaningful games.
