experienced Detroit guard with a proven scoring burst
Hartfield profiles as a seasoned rotational guard for Detroit Mercy, with a career arc that includes a senior-day start and a 14-point career high, plus steady all-around production in limited minutes. In his most recent listed season, he averaged 2.0 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game, so he is not yet a high-volume box-score driver, but he offers guard depth, familiarity with the program and the kind of ready-made game management coaches value in a bench piece. If you want a low-usage, experienced fit who can stay composed and give you competent backcourt minutes, he makes sense.
