McCall Davis is a developing right-hander with strike-throwing upside for Southern Miss
In the 2026 season, McCall Davis has logged 25.2 innings for Southern Miss, posting a 4.36 ERA with 10 strikeouts and 16 walks, which suggests a pitcher still finding consistency but already trusted in the rotation mix. At 5-foot-10 and a right-handed arm, her appeal is upside: she’s been on the mound early and often enough to show the staff believes in her competitiveness and ability to handle SEC-style pressure. She looks like a fit for teams valuing toughness, growth potential, and a live arm that can be developed into a steadier weekend contributor.
