Iowa’s dependable long snapper with a blue-collar edge
Kody Asmus is valued less for splashy stats and more for reliability, consistency, and special-teams trust—the exact traits Iowa football has long prized. Publicly available NCAA/ESPN data is limited for long snappers, but his profile as a specialist suggests he’s the kind of player coaches love: precise, steady under pressure, and built for high-leverage hidden-yardage moments. If your team needs a calm, assignment-sound, low-mistake specialist who does the dirty work without drama, he’s a strong fit.
