the versatile, high-IQ perimeter glue guy South Dakota State can trust
Alex Arians has long been valued at South Dakota State as a multi-skilled guard who can pass, shoot it from deep, and move across multiple perimeter spots, with his coach calling him a natural playmaker and consistent long-range threat[1]. In the 2023 season, he also showed he can be more than a connector, tying his career high with 20 points in a semifinal game, which hints at real feel under pressure[5]. For a team needing a smart, adaptable wing/guard who brings toughness, leadership, and low-drama reliability, he’s the kind of player coaches usually love on their side[1][9].
