USC's Resilient Third-String QB Who Delivered Heroics Against Top-10 Foe
Matt Fink, USC Trojans QB #19, boasts a solid career stat line of 72-of-107 passes (67.3%) for 732 yards, 5 TDs, and 5 INTs over 16 games with 1 start, plus 94 rushing yards and 2 TDs on 26 carries. His differentiator? Clutch performance as the third-stringer, leading a massive upset win over No. 10 Utah Utes that earned him a Big Noon Kickoff spotlight. A former Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year (sophomore year), Fink's grit shone through after losing the starting gig to JT Daniels, but he's since departed the team per FOX Sports reports—making him a battle-tested, mobile backup ideal for teams needing depth and poise under pressure.
