T.J. Hallice is Mercer’s old-school glass-eater with finishing touch
In the 2014-15 season, T.J. Hallice gave Mercer a rugged, efficient frontcourt presence: he started all 35 games, led the Bears in rebounding at 6.5 per game, and finished his senior year with 9.1 points per game; earlier, he posted a team-best .538 field-goal percentage as a sophomore. He was praised for doing the dirty work, staying durable, and bringing energy around the rim—exactly the kind of no-drama, board-crashing forward who makes a team tougher to play against.
