Darien Best gives LIU a versatile frontcourt look with high-upside energy
Darien Best is a forward for LIU, but current public stat detail is limited; the most reliable profile source confirms his roster status and position for the Sharks in the 2026 cycle[1]. What stands out is the fit: a frontcourt piece who should matter if you want length, hustle, and lineup flexibility more than ball-dominant scoring. Until more 2026 game-by-game production is available, the best read is that he’s a “watch-the-role” player—someone whose value will come from defense, activity, and spacing potential rather than headline numbers[1][2].
