Broderick Gilchrest brings veteran scoring punch to Idaho State
A seasoned Idaho State guard, Gilchrest’s calling card was efficient shot-making, secondary playmaking, and disruptive defense; in the 2010-11 season he earned honorable-mention All-Big Sky honors while averaging 15.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.0 steals per game, and he had already shown a ceiling with a 39-point outburst and a buzzer-beating overtime three the previous year. He fits if a team wants a tough, confident backcourt creator who can get hot, make winning plays, and raise the intensity without needing the offense built entirely around him.
