veteran Holy Cross ballhawk and all-purpose defensive playmaker
Gough was a high-impact Holy Cross senior DB in the 2007 preseason, earning third-team All-America recognition and a national top-three cornerback ranking from The Sports Network, which fits a player known for production and playmaking rather than flash[3]. In 2006, he logged 54 tackles, eight tackles for loss, three interceptions, and seven pass breakups, while also adding value as a kickoff returner with a 21.1-yard average and a return touchdown[3]. His calling card is versatility, instincts, and proven big-play ability; if you want a defender who can tackle, disrupt throws, and flip field position, he is a strong fit[3][1].
