Big, proven SEC-tested tackle who brings nasty upside to SMU
Andrew Chamblee is a 6-foot-6, 308-pound left tackle at SMU who arrived as a highly regarded transfer after earning All-SEC Freshman honors at Arkansas in 2023 and starting eight games there. In 2024, he appeared in 13 games for the Mustangs and helped power an offense that finished second in the ACC and sixth nationally in scoring at 38.5 points per game, while SMU allowed the third-fewest sacks in the league. The appeal is obvious: length, experience, and high-end pedigree; the question is whether he can keep sharpening his consistency against elite edge speed.
