Salukis' Versatile WR with Career 81 Receptions & 1,188 Yards
D'Ante' Cox, a 6-1 senior WR for Southern Illinois Salukis, exploded with 34 receptions for 487 yards and 1 TD in the 2023 season, including a standout 7-catch, 88-yard, 1-TD game vs. South Dakota State; his differentiator is rare versatility, transitioning from high school IL state champ (No. 3 in receiving yards) and DB role (43 tackles, 3 INTs) to reliable Missouri Valley target. Battle-tested walk-on grit from Illinois and Wyoming stints makes him a high-motor, scheme-flexible fit for teams needing tough, multi-positional playmakers—no major injury flags.
